Ingredients

1 kilogram of Peeled and cooked corn

1 cup of Pork crackling

1 Chopped yuca slice

1 tablespoon of Oil

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare the arepa, start by finely grinding the corn along with the yuca and pork crackling.

Step 2 : Then, gradually add to this mixture the salt dissolved in warm water and knead for 30 minutes until you get a smooth and manageable dough.

Step 3 : Form medium-sized balls with the dough or in the size desired for the arepas.

Step 4 : Place them on a damp cloth and flatten with your fingers until reaching the desired thickness.

Step 5 : Finally, cook them over low heat in an arepa pan until they are ready, avoiding burning.
