4 Corn on the cob

200 grams of Fresh cheese

200 grams of Muzzarella cheese

100 grams of Corn flour

100 grams of Butter

2 Eggs

1 teaspoon of Baking powder

½ cup of Molasses

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious recipe of humita in a pot, start by peeling the corn on the cob and cutting it into pieces.

Step 2 : Next, select the best corn husks, wash them, and set them aside.

Step 3 : Then, cut the corn kernels and process them until you obtain a purée to place in a bowl.

Step 4 : Subsequently, add the melted butter, baking powder, beaten eggs, corn flour, salt, and fresh cheese to the corn purée.

Step 5 : Incorporate the raisins and mix all ingredients evenly.

Step 6 : If the mixture requires, add a little more flour.

Step 7 : Once the mixture is ready, place two corn husks crossed and add the filling in the center.

Step 8 : Place slices of mozzarella and a little more filling on top.

Step 9 : Fold the husks and tie them to form a kind of package.

Step 10 : Finally, cook the humitas in a pot with boiling water and salt for approximately 45 minutes over medium heat.
