Ingredients

800 grams of Sardines

1 Egg

2 Garlic cloves

75 grams of Salted cracker

100 grams of Grated cheese

½ Lettuce

2 tablespoons of Olive oil

1 teaspoon of Sweet paprika

1 pinch of Salt

Ground white pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : In a bowl, beat the egg and add the previously peeled and pressed garlic, cheese, and chopped crackers, reserving some of these ingredients.

Step 2 : Add the julienned lettuce, season, and mix everything well.

Step 3 : Then, wash the sardines, remove the spine and the head.

Step 4 : Grease the bottom of a round baking dish with one tablespoon of oil and place a layer of sardines.

Step 5 : Cover with a portion of the filling, add another layer of sardines, and top again with filling.

Step 6 : Repeat this operation until all sardines are used.

Step 7 : Mix the reserved cheese and crackers with the paprika, sprinkle this mixture over the sardines, drizzle with the remaining oil, and microwave the dish for 7-8 minutes.

Step 8 : Finally, let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
