Chicken with Rice
Ingredients
1 cup of Precooked rice
1 cup of Precooked chicken
1 tablespoon of Julienned or diced bell pepper
¼ cup of Finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons of Olive oil
1 Crushed garlic clove
¼ cup of Precooked peas
1 tablespoon of Cilantro
1 tablespoon of Color
1 tablespoon of Chicken broth
1 Bay leaf
Thyme, salt, and pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : In a skillet, sauté the garlic and onion in oil over medium heat for 6 minutes.
Step 2 : Add the chicken, whether raw or precooked, and cook for another 6 minutes.
Step 3 : Next, add the bell pepper and peas and cook for 3 minutes.
Step 4 : Incorporate the bay leaf, thyme, salt, and pepper, then add the rice.
Step 5 : Once ready, serve and garnish with hard-boiled egg, tomato, parsley, and green onion to taste.
